  Booked a airport transfer about 8 weeks in advance
  
  3 weeks before due to go on holiday I cancelled as my parents were now available to do the trip and see us off
  
  I even asked if I need to pay a deposit to secure my booking. I was told I do not have to even though at the time I was happy to do so. So because I didn't pay a deposit and my parents were happy to do the return trip for us. I decided to cancel.
  
  I explained I will still use them in the future, at which point I was told to not bother using them again if this is how it's going to be!
  
  I believe 3 weeks is an acceptable time to cancel. If you don't want people to cancel TAKE A DEPOSIT!
